Cheltenham and District Dog Training Club

Welcome to

Cheltenham and District Dog Training Club

Established in 1956, we are a popular and well-established dog training club. We offer puppy, good behaviour and competitive obedience training classes. We strive to give our members the tools they need to achieve a great partnership with their dog and get the desired good behaviour along the way.

Don't forget to like our Facebook page!

Classes take place every Wednesday evening from 6.30pm until 10pm at Shurdington Social Centre, Bishops Road, Shurdington, GL51 4TB.

Classes are run on a four-weekly cycle, with new members starting the first Wednesday of each month. We ask that all prospective new members come to club to register at least one week prior to starting in a class, the earlier the better to guarantee your place.

Our Club President provides an introductory chat every week at 6.15pm to welcome prospective new members and to introduce them to our club. Please bring your dog along to this session so that we can assess which class will be best suited to you.

Each class costs £2.50 per dog and handler, with discounts for handlers with multiple dogs in different classes.

Annual membership fee is £10, £5 for student or senior concessions. Our fees have remained the same since September 2008. The club strives to keep costs as minimal as possible for our members.
